Founded in 1919, the American Meteorological Society (AMS) is the nation’s premier scientific and professional organization promoting and disseminating information about the atmospheric, oceanic, and hydrologic sciences. Since 1919, AMS has been publishing some of the top research in the atmospheric, oceanic, and hydrologic sciences. Today, AMS publish more than 37,000 pages per year across 11 scientific journals and a series of monographs.
