In June 2004, ACM (American Computer Society) and Reviews.com (renamed ThinkLoud in 2012) jointly developed and launched the online version of the Computing Reviews database. The predecessor was ACM's famous publication, Evaluation Reviews, which was published since 1960. Computing Reviews includes books, articles, conference documents, essays, technical reports, and online publications. Its 19 senior content editors are heavyweight scholars from related fields and join more than 1,000 professional reviewers. Computing Reviews developed a system that reduced the publishing time between the original text and the commentary from the original 9 months to just 1 month, and the content of the comment was updated daily. At the same time, Computing Reviews is not only a static publication, but also a dynamic computer science community, providing you with a platform for commentators and editors to communicate online.
