The SciVal platform contains research data from 220 countries and 4,600 institutions. Users can perform research and analysis on the basis of their needs, such as: analysis of scientific research performance, horizontal comparison between institutions, and international cooperation. Its content data from the Scopus database, consists of three modules, which use a common basis to evaluate scientific research performance from different aspects, and their functions can be integrated with each other, including:
1. Performance Overview: A multi-faceted performance overview for a country, organization, or team; analyzing its research strengths and cross-domain research directions.
2. Benchmark: A cross-assessment with any country, institution, research team or individual through different indicators.
3. Collaboration: Based on the output of the papers and the impact of citations, analyze the partner institutions and explore potential partners.
